If you are one of the fortunate fans who’s managed to grab a Taylor Swift or Coldplay ticket, we will see you at the National Stadium next year.

These legendary pop names sit amongst others with the likes of Blackpink, Guns N’ Roses and Jay Chou.

It’s clear that the National Stadium is a well-loved choice for concerts, but it is also renowned for hosting other international and national-acclaimed events.

As part of Singapore Sports Hub, a 35-hectare sports, entertainment and lifestyle destination, the National Stadium was reconstructed on the very site where the former National Stadium once stood. It features an impressive 75,000 square metres of space under an 83-metres tall steel dome crowned with a retractable roof, heralded as the largest of its kind worldwide. Designed with Singapore's tropical climate in mind, the roof's ingenious construction redirects sunlight, ensuring efficient insulation within the stadium. A bowl cooling system orchestrates cool air circulation in spectator areas, achieving energy efficiency levels superior to those of comparable venues.

Another distinct feature is its colossal 55,000-seat capacity, and its versatility for accommodating football, rugby and athletics with adaptable configurations. The process of configuring seating arrangements to suit upcoming events is accomplished just within approximately 48 hours! This space isn't just a venue; it's a symbolic testament to Singapore's dedication to sporting events and architectural innovation, inviting both locals and global visitors to witness world-class performances and unforgettable moments under its iconic dome.

The National Stadium was the venue-of-choice for the National Day Parade in 2016, 28th Southeast Asian Games, International Champions Cup, HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens and globally favourited football teams such as Liverpool FC and FC Bayern Munich had recently played on its grounds for the Singapore Festival of Football. Beyond sports and music, the National Stadium has also been utilised for community events, such as the OCBC Cycle, Japan Summer Festival, amongst others.

Nestled within the vibrant Singapore Sports Hub, the National Stadium is accessible to an entire realm of leisure and lifestyle. The Kallang Wave Mall that sits adjacent also offers entertainment options, culinary delights and retail therapy. From sporting milestones to captivating performances, the National Stadium has etched its presence onto the global stage, leaving an enduring imprint on our shared memories.
